Tim Flaherty is running for Cambridge City Council to bring a working-class, community-centered voice to City Hall. Our campaign is focused on connecting directly with voters, listening to their concerns, and building a strong grassroots movement.
Position Overview
We are hiring motivated Field Organizers / Canvassers to help us identify and engage voters across Cambridge. You’ll be part of the team on the ground, knocking doors, having one-on-one conversations, and representing Tim in neighborhoods throughout the city.
Responsibilities
Knock doors and talk with voters across Cambridge to share Tim’s message and identify supporters.
Accurately record voter contact results using campaign tech tools
Attend team trainings and daily check-ins
Represent the campaign in a positive, professional way at all times
Meet daily and weekly voter contact goals
Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, respectful approach to voter contact
Willingness to walk outdoors and knock on doors for several hours at a time
Dependable, punctual, and able to work evenings and weekends as needed
Previous canvassing, community organizing, or campaign experience is a plus, but not required
Commitment to electing Tim Flaherty and improving Cambridge for all residents is essential.
Details
Flexible schedule: 35 days per week through Election Day
Hourly pay: $15-$22, based on experience and availability.
Training and support provided.
