Progressive Talent Pipeline is a program that identifies, trains, and endorses candidates interested in applying for roles in Congress and government agencies (though PTP does not make hiring decisions and has no role in the hiring process).
Too often, there’s no clear entry point for aspiring staffers that do not already have insider connections or a background in how the federal government works. PTP bridges that gap through ongoing trainings, job search support, career development, and networking events. It provides a community for people dedicated to progressive priorities. More than 275 PTPers have secured employment in Congress, the executive branch, and government agencies! For current students, this cycle PTP will consider individuals graduating Spring 2027 or sooner.
Progressive Talent Pipeline is a great opportunity for anyone interested in advancing progressive priorities in government and is open to all experience levels — whether you’re just starting out, transitioning from another profession, a mid- or senior-level policy or communications professional, or a current government employee looking to take the next step!
In response to demand, PTP has reopened the application with a second deadline – apply for the Progressive Talent Pipeline Endorsement by Sunday, November 15, 2026! (If you’ve already applied - thanks! Applications submitted by the October 25 deadline will receive first consideration from the PTP team)
