POSITION TITLE: Tech Intern — Democracy Platform Build
ORGANIZATION: GAIN Power
ABOUT GAIN POWER: GAIN Power is a professional community and marketplace for people working in Democratic politics, elections, and civic advocacy. Founded in 2004, we’ve spent 22 years connecting the democracy workforce — campaign staff, consultants, vendors, organizers, and nonprofit leaders — with the jobs, resources, training, and relationships they need to win.
Our community reaches over 100,000 people across our platforms, including 6,000+ vetted members, a 39,000-member Google Group, a growing Substack network, and thousands of organizations across the pro-democracy ecosystem. We run the Democracy Directory, a job board with salary transparency, virtual career fairs, RootsCamp, the Powerful IDEA Awards, and a growing suite of tools for the field. We’re based in Cambridge, MA and currently rebuilding our platform from the ground up.

Maintain and update technical documentation as the platform evolves
