WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
JIN (Jewish Investor Network) is an independent Jewish institution that brings together investors who are committed to human rights, justice, and collective action. As a peer network, JIN members explore how we are integrating Jewish values into our decision making, practices, and strategies — from contesting corporate harms to investing in a world where all beings flourish. JIN members come with a diversity of experiences, roles, knowledge, and levels of wealth to learn from each other and take individual and collective action around our investments. That includes shareholder advocacy, impact investing, coordinated divestment, and many other forms of aligning our capital and actions with our values.
Launched in early 2026, JIN has built a strong advisor ecosystem, a growing membership, and a reputation that has drawn interest well beyond its current capacity. We have demonstrated the communal need and are adding a critical voice to both socially responsible investing and Jewish investing ecosystems. JIN is now moving from the launch to development phase and is hiring its first Executive Director (ED).
JIN is a fiscally sponsored project of Movement Alliance Project (MAP).
ABOUT THE ROLE
JIN seeks a strategic, relational leader to serve as Executive Director, bringing Jewish values of justice, human rights, and Palestinian liberation into the financial system and guiding the organization through its next phase of growth. Reporting to the JIN Steering Committee, the ED will own the organization’s day-to-day direction, partner with the steering committee on strategy and vision, and grow the membership. As JIN’s public face, they will lead its partnerships and represent it at conferences and across the investment, advocacy, and Jewish ecosystems. This leader will work in service of the collective, creating space for members to lead alongside them. The role requires both relational depth and operational range. The ED is simultaneously a strategic communicator, an ambassador, an organizer, and an implementer.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy and vision: Partner with the steering committee to set a bold long-term vision and translate it into annual priorities and a clear timeline.
External Representation & Strategic Communication: Serve as JIN’s voice in public settings, including at meetings, networks, conferences, and strategic partnerships, with a messaging strategy tailored to the setting and audience, ensuring JIN is represented appropriately and with integrity. Navigate critical conversations with care and sophistication, and author thought pieces that establish JIN’s credibility and build support for its mission.
Membership and Campaigns: Grow and mobilize membership around shared values of justice and liberation to power short- and long-term shareholder campaigns. Work with the membership to develop a Jewish investor framework for values-aligned investing.
Leadership Development: Cultivate leaders who can speak publicly with authenticity about what it means to invest with a Jewish lens.
Partnerships: Steward long-term relationships with allies, investors, advisors, and movement partners as JIN grows its relationships.
Operations and Management: Own day-to-day operations and the annual budget; manage committees, staff, and part-time consultants; and serve as liaison to the fiscal sponsor.

Advocacy Strategy: Experience designing and executing shareholder advocacy campaigns from concept through results.
Public-Facing Judgment & Communications: The credibility to be a trusted voice for the network with excellent communications skills and the ability to create a nuanced public communications strategy.
