Description
Popular Democracy is a network of 47 grassroots organizations across 32 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico that unapologetically demand transformational change for Black, brown, and low-income communities. We upend politics as usual to forge a representative, multiracial government and society where we all thrive — no exceptions.
The nonprofit organization Popular Democracy is hiring a full-time, union-represented Senior Staff Accountant to join its finance team. This remote role (with potential occasional travel or hybrid work for D.C.-area residents) manages full-cycle accounting, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and audit preparations across multiple progressive entities.

Process Optimization: Drive efficiency changes across internal financial procedures and support year-end audit and tax preparation.
