The Greenlining Institute is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Development to lead fundraising strategies, strengthen donor relationships, and secure long-term financial sustainability. The organization focuses on advancing economic opportunity, racial justice, and empowering communities of color.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement fundraising and revenue growth strategies.
Build relationships with major donors, foundations, corporate partners, and institutional funders.
Lead and mentor the development team.
Oversee fundraising events, sponsorships, and donor engagement.
Manage departmental budgets, donor databases, and financial reporting.
Identify new funding opportunities to support organizational growth.
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of nonprofit leadership or comparable senior management experience.
Strong fundraising, strategic planning, and team management skills.
Experience with donor databases, preferably Salesforce.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
