Description
About the Role
Vote Kansas PAC is seeking motivated Field Organizers to knock doors, make calls, recruit volunteers, and build a powerful grassroots operation across Kansas for the 2026 election cycle. Field Organizers serve as the direct link between the campaign and the voters, driving the core of our voter contact program.
Organizers report directly to their Regional Organizing Director (ROD). Prior campaign experience is helpful but not required—what matters most is a strong work ethic, the ability to connect with people from all walks of life, and a willingness to put in the hours needed to win.
What You’ll Do
Execute the campaign’s voter contact program within an assigned turf through daily door-to-door canvassing and phone banking.
Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to expand the grassroots team and meet weekly voter contact targets.
Build and maintain a strong volunteer pipeline by hosting one-on-one meetings, attending local events, and personal outreach.
Organize and lead daily canvass launches, phone banks, and volunteer training sessions.
Accurately enter and track voter contact data, volunteer shifts, and community contacts in VAN/VoteBuilder.
Execute key components of the Get Out The Vote (GOTV) plan during the final weeks of the campaign to maximize voter turnout.
