About the Role
Vote Kansas PAC is seeking Regional Organizing Directors (RODs) to lead field operations in designated regions of Kansas for the 2026 election cycle. Regional Organizing Directors will drive our ground game and will report directly to the Program Director.
This position oversees regional turf strategy, manages local campaign office operations, and recruits, hires, and trains a team of Field Organizers. You will translate campaign strategy into execution on the ground, driving volunteer and paid voter contact operations to achieve aggressive regional turnout targets.
What You’ll Do
Coordinate and execute the regional turf strategy across assigned target counties to meet all voter contact goals.
Recruit, hire, train, and manage Field Organizers in the region, providing daily coaching, accountability, and development.
Oversee operations for the local regional campaign office.
Oversee volunteer door-to-door canvassing and phone banking execution on the ground; assist with paid canvass support and supervision as needed.
Track weekly voter contact targets for the region.
Recruit, train, and empower volunteer leaders to build long-term, sustainable grassroots networks.
Build and maintain strategic relationships with local elected officials, community leaders, and partner organizations across the region.
Lead regional execution of the campaign’s Get Out The Vote (GOTV) plan to maximize turnout.
Report regularly and timely on regional progress.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
1–2+ cycles of field organizing experience on a political campaign.
Experience or demonstrated capacity in people management, mentorship, or peer training.
High proficiency with VAN/VoteBuilder and standard campaign field tools.
Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to motivate staff and volunteers.
Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a team-first mindset.
Valid driver’s license, access to a reliable personal vehicle, and a willingness to travel extensively within the assigned county footprint.
Flexibility to work campaign hours, including nights and weekends.
Desired Qualifications
Familiarity with Kansas political geography and organizing within local Kansas county structures.
Experience managing a local campaign office or regional field program.
